Formulated to supply a combination of powerful antioxidants to support the neutralization of damaging oxidative free radicals., this unique blend of natural Vitamin E and organic Selenium Yeast supports healthy muscle, nerve and reproductive functions, as well as aid in maintaining a strong immune system.
Free radicals are released during normal energy production, the same energy that your horse uses to fuel bodily functions and movement. The greater the demand, the greater this production - so, for the performance horse, the need for additional antioxidants like Vitamin E and Selenium increase. This need can also be increased in horses consuming feedstuffs low in selenium, horses with certain muscular disorders, or breeding stock.
Elevate Se provides a highly bioavailable and safe source of natural Vitamin E as well as organic selenium yeast. This form of Selenium is more natural, meaning that horses can absorb and retain it more easily, and has been proven to be more digestible than inorganic selenium. This concentrated formula provides 1,500 IU of natural Vitamin E and 1 mg of Selenium per 7-gram (1/4-oz) serving.
Over-supplementation with selenium can result in toxicity, so care should be taken when adding selenium to your horse's diet. Do not feed more than recommend levels unless instructed to do so by a veterinarian or qualified equine nutritionist. If you are unsure of your horse's selenium status, consult a veterinarian or equine nutritionist before adding supplemental selenium to the diet.

The best for long term use.
My QH gelding has been on this product for over 10 years. He's needed Vitamin E & Selenium all his life. This particular brand has the lowest selenium per dose compared to other brands, and keeps him healthy & happy. Selenium is a heavy metal so it stays in the body, building up over time. My guy won't survive without E & Selenium, but I didn't want him getting toxic with the Selenium either. Bo is now 24 years old and going strong. He's a dream to ride, and on his 3rd generation of pleasure riders in our family.
