The goal of Freedom Feeder is for every horse to have high-fiber, low-calorie forage available 24/7. Using Freedom Feeders is a way to “free” us from meal routines and help our horses live happier, healthier, and more natural lives. Freedom Feeders may also eliminate anxiety around meal time and reduce the likelihood of colic and such behavioral issues as weaving, or pacing.
The Full Bale Net is designed to hold a full 3-string bale, which can typically last a single horse 5-7 days.
Freedom Feeders are available in different size mesh openings, so that your horse can have the most optimized feeding experience. It is important that you chose the proper opening for your equine partner:
- 1" Mesh opening is ideally suited for slow feeding INSULIN RESISTANT OR SMALLER grazing animals
- 1.5" Mesh openings is ideally suited for optimal slow feeding which is meant to mimic grazing and slow consumption
- This is the most “One size fits all” option
