This unique and patented electrical device plugs into any standard AC outlet and operates with any 15-amp 120V electric heater or fan. It automatically turns on when the surrounding temperature reaches 35°F and will turn off when temperature reaches 45°F. Perfect for use with heat lamps, stock tank heaters, greenhouses, boats, and RVs.

I'm hoping it will work in the chicken coop as I worry about their hater freezing or leaving the heat lamp on and roasting the poor hens.
I like the concept, unsure of the rating for objects that heat.
