I honestly believe this product has saved my horse's life multiple times. Why have to worry about $5,000 vet bills when you can help prevent colic in less than $20 a month?

Thank you to whoever invented this product. My rescue horse loved it. Vet started him on it for a month long treatment 2x a day. His gut, according to the vet, was sooo full of sand. Now he looks and acts like a totally different horse. He not only looks better, but acts like he feels better. Now we are on 1 week out of the month for maintenance. I still can't believe the difference in my horse, even his 'attitude' is a lot better. Get the flavored one, as the plain stuff can be pretty bland.

I noticed that this stuff REALLY works! Although, it is very expensive. One thing to note is that my horse doesn't seem to like the taste very much!

I can't say that this has cured my horses colic problems because 'knock on wood' he's never. I use this product on recommendations from all my friends and would like to say it's prevented any issues thus far. I will ALWAYS purchase this from this site because the 10lb tub in my local tack stores are over $70 with tax!! My horse loves it, and doesn't have any problems eating it. I feed 1 week per month.

I haven't used this stuff before. I debated between the Manna Pro product and this. Manna pro requires more scoops (perhaps about the same amount just different sized scoops?) but has more flavor I hear. Anyways my horse isn't picky with eating, but she just didn't like this stuff, she spit out a lot of her feed. But I mixed it with her usual feed and found that the bucket was at least empty. We'll see how it changes next week :)

our land is very sandy and we have had colic trouble. I use this product each month to prevent problems. #1: the horses eat it!
I will continue to use sandclear to keep my horses healthy and for prevention.
Great product!

My picky horses have completely refused to eat their feed when I've added some supplements, but not this one. They seem to enjoy the taste and didn't waste a pellet.

I tested my horses for sand in their poo and saw sand evident but not bad. Still I decided to keep purging their systems per directions of 1 week out of every month, but I also included a serving every three to four days. When I had one horse show colic signs I called the vet out. She determined that it was due to a dewormer I never used before (and will not again). She asked about sand clear and I told her how much I was feeding and she was very impressed that I was doing that already. I buy the big bucket and keep it on hand at all times. My horses don't want for anything and I sure don't want them to need for anything either. Use this product...you won't be disappointed.

I have been using this product for about 5 years. Before using this I did loose a horse to sand colic. Swore I would never let that happen again. I use this twice a week (Wed & Sun)in both feedings. Don't have any problems with this sticking to roof of my horses mouth. Would Highly recommend it to anyone living in and around sandy areas.

My mare was being boarded in the desert for about eight months where I could only visit her every other month during that time. Imagine my shock when I saw her and she was all bones. Vet determined it was sand colic. I've been using SandClear for over 2 years now, one week a month. No more sand colic and with weight gain products and good feed she has returned to normal weight and is very active again.

We feed Sand clear twice a week all year long to prevent sand colic on recommendation from local vet. We add 1 cup in evening feed Wed. and Sun.
Our area is almost pure sand and we have little to no pasture. Feed hay which inevitably ends up on ground.
Previous horse, using this regime, did colic but was not caused by sand. Vet found no sand in intestine!
Highly recommend use. Losing horse to sand colic which is preventable is excruciating experience that no horse / owner should go through.

I FEED SANDCLEAR 1 WEEK EACH MONTH- I MIX WITH MOLASSES AND RAW APPLE CHUNKS- THE APPLE SEEMS TO KEEP THE HORSES MOUTH WET SO CAN EAT EASIER- MY HORSES CAN'T WAIT FOR THE TREAT EACH MONTH-PREVENTS SAND COLIC!!!!!

A must for all desert living horses! She loves the small pellets. We use Sandclear for 1 wk out of the month. Cons: I hand feed with hay(Sandclear then hay, sandclear then hay) otherwise it turns into a very thick peanut buttery mass on the roof of her mouth which is funny to watch. I think this could be potentially lethal if in throat or forms a single mass in the intestines. I tried one pellet and it turned into a thick gel and stuck in my molars for about an hour.
